Your company leads its industry through strong core principles.
Thank you for completing the assessment.
Your high score shows that you have clearly communicated and deeply embedded core principles within your organization. Just as I did with my company, your commitment to authenticity, transparency, and adaptability is evident in how you operate. Let me share a specific story from my book, Believe in Better, which demonstrates the power of these principles.
On the inaugural day of my newly launched InsurTech company, I faced a brutal awakening that turned into a pivotal lesson. We had just begun operations, and I was ready to celebrate when I received a call from a top executive of an insurance carrier. Her tone was thick with frustration as she questioned the integrity and viability of our business model, labeling it a disaster. It turned out that a policyholder had been without air conditioning for ten days, and both the policyholder and the insurance carrier misunderstood our role. They expected us to fix the issue immediately, but our job was to inspect, diagnose, and report.
This miscommunication highlighted a glaring problem. We were delivering on what we promised, but the expectations were misaligned. Instead of brushing it off, we held countless meetings and brainstorming sessions, committed to overhauling our communication processes. We began onboarding new customers with explicit clarifications to prevent any future miscommunication. This commitment to transparency and authenticity paid off immensely. Fast forward, we now serve 15,000 policyholders per month, and that initial painful experience shaped our dedication to clear and honest communication.
Your ability to maintain these principles is key to your success in employee retention and customer satisfaction. Like my own proactive approach, your efforts ensure that everyone in your organization understands and embodies your core values.
When you ensure that your team practices your values, your company will stand out in a competitive market. By setting aside time and resources for employees to practice your principles, you will ensure that your brand remains distinct and respected.
I would enjoy hearing more about how you have seamlessly woven your companys core principles into your brand message, daily practices, and business relationships. Id really like to hear how it translates to better employee retention and customer satisfaction.
